(1) The syllabus and assessment of the examination to be taken by the Commission to recommend for appointment to the post of District Judge shall be as determined by the Commission in consultation with the Public Service Commission, Judicial Council and experts in related subjects.
(2) While preparing the curriculum according to subsection (1), the work to be done in the position of a judge shall be analyzed and the work and educational qualification of such position shall be taken as a basis.
(3) When preparing the syllabus according to sub-section (1), the date of implementation of the syllabus, the full marks of each subject, the examination system, the medium of examination (language), the weightage of the questions and the time should also be included.
(4) In order to pass the examination conducted by the commission to recommend for appointment to the post of district judge, at least 50 percent marks must be obtained in each paper.
(5) The test method of the examination to be taken by the commission for recommending appointment to the post of district judge, the examination procedure and other provisions related thereto shall be as prescribed.
